Period End Maintenance
Use the Period End Maintenance form after running Create New Year at the end of a fiscal year or as needed. Note that all Period End Maintenance activities are optional, and can be done at any time.
If G/L Security is turned on, note that the period-end functions do not check account permissions. For example, you can delete inactive accounts, even if you do not have account permission.
