Before You Begin Checklist
Before you begin the Test Visual LANSA task, check the following:
- Do you have a DEM partion installed? Refer to Testing using the DEM Partition.
- Did you import the Personnel Demonstration System during Partition Initialization? (Partition Initialization starts automatically when you first install Visual LANSA and whenever you create a new partition. Refer to the Personnel System Demonstration Files.
- Do you have the appropriate Visual LANSA license or hardware key installed? Note: You can execute Visual LANSA in a trial mode without a license.
- Do you have a user profile and password with authority to update the DEM partition? If you have installed an Independent LANSA System, you will be able to use the profile/password of PCXUSER/pcxuser.
