Following are some frequently asked questions about installing and configuring LANSA Open:
Can I have more than one version of LANSA Open installed?
Yes. You can have more than one version of LANSA Open installed.
You may also have more than one copy of LANSA Open (at the same or different versions) installed on a single machine.
Do I have to install LANSA Open if I am using LANSA Client?
No. You do not need to perform a separate install of LANSA Open when using products such as LANSA Client. When LANSA products use the LANSA Open technology, the necessary files are included with the LANSA install.
You must install LANSA Open and you must have a LANSA Open license if you are using a third party development tool to create client/server applications.
