10.2 LANSA for the Web - What's Next?
In order to install the LANSA for the Web software components on IBM i, you must use the LANSA Install IBM i Software DVD. For details, refer to the Installing LANSA on IBM i Guide.
Configuration and set up tasks must be performed on the Web Server before using LANSA for the Web. For details, review both the Installing LANSA on IBM i Guide or the relevant topics in this guide.
LANSA for Web Platform Differences
If you have been using LANSA for Web on a IBM i, please take a look at the differences between one platform and the other. You will find a list of these differences in LANSA for the Web Platform Differences the LANSA for the Web Administration Guide.
Online Reading
The latest versions of the LANSA Online Guides are automatically installed on your PC with the Visual LANSA software.
If you are a current LANSA for the Web user, review the What's New? summary or the detailed (Readme) list of changes on the software DVD. All changes in this version are listed. You should review the What's New? information before using the installed software.
Online Tutorials
If you are a new LANSA for the Web user, go to the tutorials in the or simply select the Tutorial button on the documentation toolbar to be taken to a list of the available online Tutorials.
