HTTP Error 403: Forbidden By Rule  

The most common cause for this error is an incorrect URL specified when you attempt to invoke LANSA for the Web applications.

Carefully check the syntax of the URL.

Check the process, function and partition name.

Another common cause of this error is an authority problem.

If using anonymous access, check the Default User to identify the associated user profile. (

If using a IBM i  Web Server, check that the IBM i user profile has authority on the CGI-BIN library and files.

You also get this error if you haven't web-enabled your application: LWEBSF, process web-enabled, recompile, web-enable from Administrator.

Also check ICS configuration: Bindspecific ON/OFF values.
