This guide contains detailed instructions for the installation and upgrade of LANSA software products on the Windows platform.

If this is your first time installing a LANSA system, or if you are unfamiliar with the different installation models for each product, we recommend you review Planning a new Installation which provides a high-level roadmap of the LANSA software installation on Windows, which includes common development and deployment scenarios and a summary of associated tasks.

If you are not familiar with the LANSA family of products, review What is LANSA? in the LANSA Documentation Roadmap for a description of each product in the LANSA family of software products.

You should review Before You Install/Upgrade and also the Visual LANSA Requirements Checklist before you begin the software installation or upgrade. This section also includes frequently asked questions, which you may find helpful.

The remainder of the guide is divided into specific product installation tasks.

If you encounter any problems during the installation, review Troubleshooting.
