Credit/Debit Note Entry — Credit/Debit Tab
Use this tab to enter:

The credit note or debit note date.

The invoice or return number to which the transaction applies.

The billing address for the credit note or debit note.

The remit-to address where you send the payments to the vendor.

An optional description and reference.

The credit note or debit note total.

Enter new details for a credit note or debit note you are entering without an invoice or return number.

Edit the item detail lines for a credit note or debit note for an existing invoice or return from a primary vendor. (You cannot add new detail lines when working with an existing invoice or return, and you cannot delete detail lines displayed from returns.)

Open a separate form to edit tax or other information for a single detail. The Detail Items/Taxes form displays all the fields for a single detail, including tax fields.
