Unit
In general, all measurements (also see Measuring area and Measuring volume) use the same units as the drawing, which can be set when importing it (see Units type) or by modifying its ‘Drawing properties’ (see Drawing properties). The default primary measurement unit is meters for the metric system and feet for the US systems.
If this measurement is linked to a WBS work item,
then it is possible that the unit of the work item and the unit of the
measurement are different. Nevertheless, converting between the two units is
done automatically. The unit of the measurement, which is the unit of the
drawing, is displayed in the ‘Drawings’ tab, while the unit of the WBS item is
displayed in the ‘WBS’ tab. For a list of all available units see
