8 6 4 Substitution Character for the Character

Mandatory.

Specify the character that will be used as the substitution character for the $ character. This will be used when validating object names.

The $ character is used to identify special substitution values in LANSA.

Note: Do not change this character unless you are absolutely sure that it needs to be changed as the result of character translation issues.
