Dialing from your Outlook Contacts

IPFX for Outlook supports dialing numbers directly from your Microsoft Outlook Contacts screen.

To dial a number from the Microsoft Outlook Contacts screen

Method 1

  1. Highlight the Contact you want to call and click the Call Control button on the top tool bar.
  2. Click Dial Contact from the drop-down Call Control list.

    Note This can be done from the Contact Summary screen or from within the Contact itself.

    You will be offered the telephone numbers associated with that contact (e.g. Business, Mobile, Home):

  3. Select the preferred option from the telephone numbers offered.
  4. Click OK

    Your phone will now ring that number.

    If you have a Dterm/Digital phone, your telephone will now be in hands free mode.

Note If you have an Analogue phone, your phone will ring.
When you answer, activate call set-up by saying "Hello".

Method 2

  1. Highlight the required contact.
  2. Click the Dial button on the Toolbar.
  3. Select from the drop-down box and Click Dial.
