Import Information into Project and Job Costing
To import information or transactions:

Create the file you want to import. (You can create a template for an import file by exporting a few records of the type you want to import. During the export process, select Save Template , and enter a name for the template file.)

Open the Project and Job Costing form in which you maintain the data you want to import.

On the File menu, click the Import command.

Type or select the file name and file type in the form that appears next.

If you previously created a template for importing, choose the Load Template button, then select the template file.

Choose the fields that you want to import and select from any other options that appear. (You can save your choices as a template for the next time you import records.)

Click OK to begin importing.
