Starting Remote DAQ Configuration

To connect to a computer for remote configuration of DAQ devices, follow these steps:

1. From the MAX toolbar, select Tools»NI-DAQ Configuration»Remote DAQ Configuration. The Select Remote Computer window opens.
2. Type in the name or IP address of the remote computer, or click Browse to browse the network.
3. Type in the RDA password. For more information on setting the RDA password, refer to Remote Access Settings.
4. Click OK. If the connection is successful, the Remote DAQ Configuration dialog box opens. If the connection fails, an error message opens. Click OK to continue.
