PCI Devices
PCI DAQ devices are Plug and Play devices; however, because of the influence of the PCI bus architecture, there are some differences in how you must configure your PCI device, as compared to ISA Plug and Play devices. You generally cannot modify any system resources for PCI DAQ devices, since under Windows NT, MAX uses the BIOS-assigned resources.
Although assigned resources cannot be modified, follow these steps to verify resources:
- Right-click the device in the configuration tree.
- Select Test Panel.
Test panels test the device and make sure the assigned system resources are correct.
