Editing AI Physical Quantity
The physical quantity field defines the unit and range of the physical quantity you are measuring with a given DAQ device channel.
| Units | In the Units selection box, enter the appropriate unit. For non-temperature measurements, you can enter any unit you want to use. For temperature measurements, you can choose Deg C, Deg F, Deg K, or Deg R. |
| Range | In the Range selection boxes, enter the minimum and maximum values of the physical quantity you are measuring. |
For example, to configure a channel to read a temperature that can vary from 0 to 100° C, set the Units to Deg C, the minimum range to 0, and the maximum range to 100.
