Windows 2000/XP Device Manager
The Device Manager allocates system resources for all devices you have in the system and makes sure no two devices are using the same system resources such as base address or interrupt level. In Windows 2000/XP, you open the Device Manager by expanding Start»Settings»Control Panel»System, and then selecting the Hardware tab. Click Device Manager.
The Device Manager detects Plug and Play devices when your system starts and automatically assigns resources for your device. For more information, refer to Plug and Play Devices.
You can also change system resources for your DAQ device using the Device Manager. For more information, refer to Resource Allocation.
