Enable or disable the spelling checker for a control

You can specify whether Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 checks the spelling of the data that users type into a text box, rich text box, or list control. By default, the spelling checker is enabled.

  1. In design mode, right-click the control for which you want to enable or disable the spelling checker, and then click Control Properties on the shortcut menu.
  2. In the Control Properties dialog box, click the Display tab, and then do one of the following:
    • To enable the spelling checker for the control, select the Enable spelling checker check box.
    • To disable the spelling checker for the control, clear the Enable spelling checker check box.
