Align text left or right
When designing a form, you can align text that appears on the form. You can also specify that text should align to the left or right inside certain types of controls, such as text boxes and expression boxes.
Align text on a form- Select the text you want to align.
- On the Formatting toolbar, click Align Left
or Align Right
.
Note When filling out a form, you can use the previous procedure to align text in certain types of rich text fields. To quickly determine whether you're in a rich text field, place your insertion point in the field. If the Align Right and Align Left buttons on the Formatting toolbar appear active instead of dimmed, the field supports text alignment.
- In design mode, right-click the control you want to format, and then click Control Properties on the shortcut menu.
- On the Display tab in the Control Properties dialog box, click Left or Right in the Alignment list.
