Use the VIs on the Measurements palette to measure parameters including BER, Rho, burst timing, and quadrature impairments.

Palette Object Description
MT Calculate BER

Calculates the average bit error rate (BER) against a PN sequence or user-specified reference bit pattern.

MT Measure Quadrature Impairments

Measures and reports quadrature impairments over a single user-specified window for each of the supported modulation types. This VI must be called once for each measurement window.

MT Measure Burst Timing

Locates a burst within the input complex waveform with peaks correlating to the input ideal power curve.

MT Measure Rho

Calculates rho given an acquired and ideal waveform. Rho is a measure of correlation between the measured complex waveform and the ideal complex waveform. To generate the ideal waveform, use the digital modulation VIs with the same system parameters given to the digital demodulation VIs, and then modulate the output bit stream returned by the demodulation VI.
