The Autosetup feature in PicoScope sets up timebase, channels and trigger configuration automatically. It supports all converters. Activate it by clicking the "lightning" button.

AutoSetup follows these rules:

2ball6bThe timebase will auto-range to the first enabled channel with a signal.
2ball6bIf no channels have signals then the timebase will be set to the default timebase for that converter.
2ball6bIf there is a trigger enabled, the trigger channel is automatically set to the first enabled channel with a signal.
2ball6bThe trigger mode is set to Auto and the trigger delay to -10%. The trigger threshold is set to 0mV if AC coupling is enabled or is centred between the peak values if DC coupling is enabled.
2ball6bIf there is a trigger enabled and there are no signals in any channels, the trigger is disabled.
2ball6bThe voltage range is set relative the signal on that channel. If no signal is present, it is set to the minimum range for that channel.
2ball6bThe AC/DC coupling state is not changed.
2ball6bIf a channel is enabled, it will stay enabled and if it is disabled it will stay disabled.

Autosetup can detect frequencies from 50 Hz to a quarter of the sample rate of the scope.
