Copying a Block of Text
Suppose you want to copy a section of text from one place in your file to another. Here is one way to do it:
- Use a string search to locate the start of the block. Move the cursor to the first line you want to copy and press ^L. You should see the current line highlighted.
- Go to the last line you want to mark and press ^C.
- Go to the screen where you want to insert a copy of the text. Move the cursor to the line after the desired insertion point and Press ^V to add the block.
