Advanced Features
In addition to supporting standard 16550-compatible UART functionality, some NI serial hardware supports additional advanced features:
- Adjustable FIFO levels
- RS-485 transceiver control
- RS-485 socketed bias resistors
- RS-485 programmatically controlled bias resistors
- RS-232 transceiver state
- RS-232 DTE/DCE transceiver control
