Deleting Device Settings

You can use Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) to delete device settings files in the Initialization Settings dialog box.

Complete the following steps to delete a device settings file:

1. Launch MAX.
2. Expand Devices and Interfaces in the configuration tree.
3. Expand NI–Motion Devices, and then expand the item for the appropriate motion controller.
4. Right-click Default xxxx Settings in the configuration tree.
5. Select Initialization Settings»Change Current Settings.
6. Right-click the settings you want to delete and select Delete.
7. Close the Initialization Settings dialog box.
