Changing Device Settings Files

Complete the following steps to change the device settings file:

1. Launch Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).
2. Expand Devices and Interfaces in the configuration tree.
3. Expand NI–Motion Devices, and then expand the item for the appropriate motion controller.
4. Right-click Default xxxx Settings in the configuration tree.
5. Select Initialization Settings»Change Current Settings.
6. Select the device settings file you want to use, and click Change.
   
   When you click Initialize, these settings are downloaded to the controller.
