Downloading Settings to the Controller

Complete the following steps to change the device settings file:

1. Launch Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).
2. Expand Devices and Interfaces in the configuration tree.
3. Expand NI–Motion Devices, and then click the appropriate controller name.
4. When you have fully configured your controller, click Initialize to download the settings to the device.

   Tip  During configuration, if you want to revert the current settings in MAX to the most recent downloaded configuration, click Refresh.
