Activating Your Device License

Complete the following steps to activate the license for your motion controller:

1. Launch Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).
2. Expand Devices and Interfaces.
3. Expand the NI–Motion Devices item in the configuration tree.
4. Right-click the item for the appropriate motion device and select Activate Device to launch the NI Activation Wizard.
5. Follow the onscreen prompts to work through the licensing wizard.

Tip  You also can launch the NI Activation Wizard by selecting the appropriate NI Motion device in MAX and clicking the Activate Device button at the top of the MAX user interface.
