Error Codes
NI Vision can return the following error codes.

| 30201 | Change requires reconfigure to take effect. |
| 30202 | Interface still locked. |
| 30203 | Unstable blanking reference. |
| 30204 | Bad quality colorburst. |
| 30205 | Image acquisition operation not configured. |
| 30206 | Image acquisition operation not active. |
| 30207 | Image acquisition operation cannot be started because it is not configured or is currently active. |
| 30208 | Triggered asynchronous acquisitions are not supported with StillColor enabled. |
| 30209 | Triggered asynchronous acquisitions require NI-IMAQ version 2.0 or greater. |
| 30210 | The object has been locked by an ongoing acquisition and may not be modified. |
| 30211 | Image acquisition operation active. |
| 30212 | Maximum number of RTSI lines already in use. |
| 30213 | Cannot load NIVision.dll. |
| 30214 | Cannot load IMAQ.dll. Make sure the NI-IMAQ driver is installed correctly. |
| 30215 | The specified function is not located in the driver. |
| 30216 | Maximum number of devices in use exceeded. |
| 30217 | The specified device is already in use by another CWIMAQ control. |
| 30218 | The currently selected color mode is not supported by the specified device. |
| 30219 | Invalid ColorMode for specified device. |
| 30220 | Invalid FrameFieldMode for specified device. |
| 30221 | Acquisition timed out. |
| 30222 | Newer version of NI-IMAQ required. |
| 30223 | The Images collection must contain at least one image. |
| 30224 | The regions collection is currently being updated interactively and cannot be modified programmatically. |
| 30225 | The region is currently being updated interactively and cannot be modified programmatically. |
| 30226 | The signal is set up for pulse generation but there is no pulse object associated with it. You must call SetPulse. |
| 30227 | Newer version of NI Vision required. |
| 30228 | The number of classes for AutoThreshold is not within the valid range (0-255). |
| 30229 | You must supply a regions collection consisting of two lines to CreateFromRegions. |
| 30230 | Interpolate1D does not support the interpolation method that you supplied. |
| 30231 | You cannot specify parallel lines for the Meter regions. |
| 30232 | The template image you supplied does not contain data that MatchPattern requires for shift-invariant matching. |
| 30233 | The template image you supplied does not contain data that MatchPattern requires for rotation-invariant matching. |
| 30234 | DrawLine does not support the draw mode value you supplied. |
| 30235 | You supplied a regions collection that is invalid for this operation. |
| 30236 | Rotate does not support the interpolation method that you supplied. |
| 30237 | You cannot set the display mapping range directly. Use MapGivenRange or MapGivenPercentRange instead. |
| 30238 | You must supply the image that you created using the particle report if you want to reject border particles. |
| 30239 | You supplied an invalid signal source or an invalid signal line. |
| 30300 | The phase constant specified for the color decoder is invalid. |
| 30301 | The chroma path group delay setting is invalid. |
| 30302 | The SECAM detection method is invalid. |
| 30303 | The FSC detection method is invalid. |
| 30304 | The chroma frequency tracking time constant is invalid. |
| 30305 | The chroma gain tracking time constant setting is invalid. |
| 30306 | The pixel sampling rate is invalid. |
| 30307 | The requested VSYNC edge to synchronize with is invalid. |
| 30308 | The method used to control the gain setting for luminance is invalid. |
| 30309 | The chrominance comb coefficients setting is invalid. |
| 30310 | The method used to track chrominance is invalid. |
| 30311 | The algorithm for dropping video lines is invalid. |
| 30312 | VHA optimization is not applicable for the current configuration. |

| 30315 | The data configuration for the channel link chip is invalid. |
| 30316 | The requested occurrence is invalid. |
| 30317 | The pattern generation mode is invalid. |
| 30318 | The pattern generation source signal is invalid. |
| 30319 | The pattern generation gate signal is invalid. |
| 30320 | The pattern generation gate polarity is invalid. |
| 30321 | The initial state for the pattern generation waveform is invalid. |
| 30322 | The requested camera attribute is invalid. |
| 30323 | The request failed because the device is closed. |
| 30324 | The requested file could not be found. |
| 30325 | The dspfilter1409.bin file is corrupt or missing. |
| 30326 | The scarabXCV200.bin file is corrupt or missing. |
| 30327 | The scarab16bit.bin file is corrupt or missing. |
| 30328 | The Camera Link FPGA bin file is corrupt or missing. |
| 30329 | The colorspace.bin file is corrupt or missing. |
| 30330 | The error code passed into imgShowError is unknown. |
| 30331 | The image acquisition device requires a newer version of the NI-IMAQ driver software. |
| 30332 | The NI-IMAQ driver software installation is corrupt. |
| 30333 | NI-IMAQ cannot perform an onboard acquisition because there is no onboard memory. |
| 30334 | The Bayer pattern specified is invalid. |
| 30335 | The image acquisition device is not operating correctly and cannot be initialized. |
| 30336 | The stored calibration data has been corrupted. |
| 30337 | NI-IMAQ attempted to perform an illegal operation. |
| 30338 | NI-IMAQ attempted to access a chip beyond the applicable addressable range. |
| 30339 | The requested operation is not valid for onboard acquisitions. |
| 30340 | The requested operation is valid only for onboard acquisitions. |
| 30341 | NI-IMAQ attempted to call an initialization function on an image acquisition device that was already initialized. |
| 30342 | The image acquisition device does not have a serial port. Serial functions are invalid. |
| 30343 | The VENABLE gating mode selection is invalid. |
| 30344 | The lutfpga1407.bin file is corrupt or missing. |
| 30345 | The synchronization signal detection level is out of range. |
| 30346 | The gain1405.bin file is corrupt or missing. |
| 30347 | The image acquisition device does not have a clamp DAC. |
| 30348 | The image acquisition device does not have a gain DAC. |
| 30349 | The image acquisition device does not have a reference DAC. |
| 30350 | The scarabXC2S200.bin file is corrupt or missing. |
| 30351 | The specified LUT gain is invalid. |
| 30352 | The requested number of buffer lists for an onboard acquisition is invalid. |
| 30353 | The requested line number for pattern generation is invalid. |
| 30354 | The requested number of bits per pixel is invalid. |
| 30355 | Triggers are coming in too fast to handle them and maintain system responsiveness. Check for noise on your trigger line. |
| 30356 | The scarabXC2S200_03052009.bin file is corrupt or missing. |
| 30357 | Internal Error: An error occurred while configuring the LUT. |
| 30358 | A firmware update has been applied to the device. The image acquisition device requires a newer version of the NI-IMAQ driver software to work with the update. |
| 30359 | An error occurred while updating the firmware on the device. |
| 30360 | The trigger line does not support the requested signaling level. |
| 30361 | This camera file requires a newer version of NI-IMAQ. |
| 30362 | An image cannot be placed in the same buffer list more than once. |
| 30364 | The camera file does not support the current interface type. |
| 30365 | The requested polarity for the pixel clock is invalid. |
| 30366 | The requested polarity for the enable line is invalid. |
| 30367 | The requested signaling level for the pixel clock is invalid. |
| 30368 | The requested signaling level for the enable line is invalid. |
| 30369 | The requested signaling level for the data lines is invalid. |
| 30370 | The requested signaling level for the control lines is invalid. |
| 30371 | The requested window handle is invalid. |
| 30372 | Cannot open the requested file for writing. |
| 30373 | Cannot open the requested file for reading. |
| 30374 | Cannot wait on the requested signal. |
| 30375 | The specified number of samples per line is invalid. |
| 30376 | The specified reference value for samples per line is invalid. |
| 30377 | The current video signal requires an external HSYNC to be used to lock the signal. |
| 30378 | An image buffer is not properly aligned. All image buffers must be aligned to a 4-byte boundary. |
| 30379 | The number of pixels per row is less than the region of interest width. |
| 30380 | The number of pixels per row is not properly aligned. The total number of bytes per row must be aligned to a 4-byte boundary. |
| 30381 | The ROI width is not properly aligned. The total number of bytes bounded by the ROI width must be aligned to a 4-byte boundary. |
| 30382 | Linescan mode is not valid for this tap configuration. |
| 30383 | This interface file requires a newer version of NI-IMAQ. |
| 30384 | The requested skip count value is out of range. |
| 30385 | The number of X zones in the tap configuration of the camera is invalid. |
| 30386 | The number of Y zones in the tap configuration of the camera is invalid. |
| 30387 | The number of taps per X zone in the tap configuration of the camera is invalid. |
| 30388 | The number of taps per Y zone in the tap configuration of the camera is invalid. |
| 30389 | The requested test image type is invalid. |
| 30390 | This firmware is not capable of acquiring from a camera. |
| 30391 | The source for the camera control line is invalid. |
| 30392 | The requested pixel extractor is invalid. |
| 30393 | The requested number of time slots is invalid. |
| 30394 | The requested VCO divide down number is invalid. The only valid values are 2, 4, 8 and 16. |
| 30395 | The device temperature exceeded the critical temperature threshold. |
| 30396 | The requested dynamic phase aligner offset is invalid. |
| 30397 | The requested number of post trigger buffers is invalid. |
| 30398 | The requested DVAL mode is invalid. |
| 30399 | The requested trigger generator rearm source signal is invalid. |
| 30400 | The requested ASM gate signal is invalid. |
| 30401 | The requested number of buffer list buffers is not supported by this image acquisition device. |
| 30402 | The rectangle defined for Tap 4 is invalid. |
| 30403 | The rectangle defined for Tap 5 is invalid. |
| 30404 | The rectangle defined for Tap 6 is invalid. |
| 30405 | The rectangle defined for Tap 7 is invalid. |
| 30406 | The camera is providing image data faster than the image acquisition device can receive it. |
| 30407 | The requested port number does not exist. |
| 30408 | The requested port cannot be cannot be configured due to a conflict with another port that is currently opened. |
| 30409 | The requested bitstream is not compatible with the image acquisition device. |
| 30410 | The requested serial port is currently in use and is not accessible. |
| 30411 | The requested encoder divide factor is invalid. |
| 30412 | Encoder support is not present for this image acquisition device. Please verify that this device is capable of handling encoder signals and that phase A and B are connected. |
| 30413 | The requested encoder phase signal polarity is invalid. |
| 30414 | The requested encoder filter setting is invalid. |
| 30415 | This image acquisition device does not support reading the absolute encoder position. |
| 30416 | The image appears to be in use. Please name the images differently to avoid this situation. |
| 30417 | The scarab.bin file is corrupt or missing. |
| 30418 | The requested camera attribute value is invalid. For numeric camera attributes, please ensure that the value is properly aligned and within the allowable range. |
| 30419 | The requested pulse width is invalid. |
| 30420 | The requested FPGA bitstream file could not be found. |
| 30421 | The requested FPGA bitstream file is corrupt. |
| 30422 | The requested pulse delay is invalid. |
| 30423 | The pattern generation (PG) idle state is invalid. Camera control lines sourced from the PG unit must be all tristate or all non-tristate. |
| 30424 | The idle state for the pattern generation waveform is invalid. |
| 30425 | This device only supports acquiring into the 32-bit address space; however, portions of the image buffer list reside outside of 32-bit physical memory. |
| 30426 | This 32-bit device is operating on a 64-bit OS with more than 3GB of physical memory. An update is available to allow acquisitions into 64-bit physical memory. Launch the updater from the menu in MAX: Tools >> NI Vision >> Update NI-IMAQ Device Firmware. |
| 30427 | This 32-bit device is operating on a 64-bit OS with more than 3GB of physical memory. This configuration could allocate 64-bit memory which is unsupported by the device. To solve this problem, reduce the amount of physical memory in the system. |
| 30428 | The kernel component of the driver, niimaqk.sys, is not loaded. Verify that an IMAQ device is in your system or reinstall the driver. |
| 30429 | The sensor shutter period is invalid. Check the horizontal and vertical shutter period values. |
| 30430 | The sensor CCD type is invalid. |
| 30431 | The sensor partial scan mode is invalid. |
| 30432 | The sensor binning mode is invalid. |
| 30433 | The sensor gain value is invalid. |
| 30434 | The sensor brightness value is invalid. |
| 30435 | The LED state is invalid. |
| 30436 | The operation is not supported for 64-bit applications. |
| 30437 | The requested trigger delay value is not supported. |
| 30438 | The configured lighting current level exceeds the hardware or user's configured limits. |
| 30439 | The configured lighting mode is invalid. |
| 30440 | The configured external lighting mode is invalid. |
| 30441 | The sensor exposure time is invalid. |
| 30442 | The frame rate is invalid for the current configuration. |
| 30801 | NI-IMAQ cannot perform the requested operation. |
| 30802 | Too many interfaces open. |
| 30803 | Not enough memory to perform the operation. |
| 30804 | Operating system error occurred. |

| 30824 | Camera file is missing or corrupted. |
| 30825 | The hardware is incapable of performing the requested action. |
| 30826 | No buffers configured for session. |
| 30827 | Buffer list does not contain a valid final command. |
| 30828 | Buffer list contains an invalid command. |
| 30829 | One or more of the buffers in the buffer list is not configured. |
| 30830 | No acquisition in progress. |
| 30831 | Cannot detect recognizable video source. |
| 30832 | Bad DMA transfer. |
| 30833 | Cannot perform request; acquisition currently in progress. |
| 30834 | A timeout error occurred while waiting for the specified event. If waiting for an image, verify that all video data is acquired within the timeout period. If waiting for a signal, verify that the signal assertion occurs within the timeout period. |
| 30835 | No buffers available; too early in acquisition. |
| 30836 | The buffer has a size of zero. |
| 30837 | Parameter value set lower than valid range. |
| 30838 | Trigger loopback problem; cannot drive with action enabled. |
| 30839 | No interface found. |
| 30840 | Unable to load DLL. |
| 30841 | Unable to find API function in DLL. |
| 30842 | Unable to allocate system resources. |
| 30843 | No trigger action; acquisition will time out. |
| 30844 | FIFO overflow caused acquisition to halt. |
| 30845 | Operating system denied request to lock down memory. |
| 30846 | Interface locked. |
| 30847 | No pixel clock detected from camera. |

| 30952 | The requested chip code is invalid. Could not find a matching chip. |
| 30953 | The LUT chip does not exist on this image acquisition device. |
| 30954 | The DSP filter does not exist on this image acquisition device. |
| 30955 | The image acquisition device was not found. |
| 30956 | An error occurred during onboard memory configuration. |
| 30957 | The pointer provided is either NULL when it should not be, or is non-NULL when it should be NULL. |
| 30958 | The requested buffer list index is invalid. |
| 30959 | The requested buffer attribute is invalid. |
| 30960 | The requested buffer was not created by the NI-IMAQ driver software. |
| 30961 | This image acquisition device already has a buffer list locked down in memory. |
| 30962 | The type of image acquisition device requested is invalid. |
| 30963 | The size of one or more Base Address Register windows is incorrect. |
| 30965 | The selected region of interest is not valid for the camera tap configuration. |
| 30966 | The wait terminated because the acquisition stopped. |
| 30967 | The requested trigger action is invalid. |

| 30970 | The requested buffer has been overwritten and is no longer available. |
| 30972 | The pulse ID is invalid. |
| 30973 | The requested timebase for the pulse is invalid. |
| 30974 | The gate signal for the pulse is invalid. |
| 30975 | The polarity of the pulse gate signal is invalid. |
| 30976 | The output signal for the pulse is invalid. |
| 30977 | The requested polarity of the pulse output signal is invalid. |

| 30979 | There are not enough system resources to complete the requested option. |
