Check for data errors in a form
Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 automatically checks the information you enter into a form for data errors as you type. If a problem with the information you type into a form is found, you will be presented with either a traditional dialog box alert or an inline alert.
- Type into the form.
- Do one of the following:
- Read the error message, and then click OK.
- Make the appropriate corrections.
- To display a short description of the problem with the data, right-click any fields with dashed red borders.
- To view a full description of the problem, click Full error description on the shortcut menu.
- Make the appropriate corrections.
- To go to the next data error in the form, click Go to next error on the Tools menu.
