Find and open a form

1. On the File menu, click Fill out a form.
2. Under Open a form in the Fill Out a Form task pane, click On My Computer.
3. In the Files of type box in the Open dialog box, select Form Templates.
4. In the Look in list, click the drive, folder, or Internet location that contains the form you want to fill out.
5. In the folder list, double-click the folder that contains the form you want to open.
6. Click the form, and then click Open.

Tip

To fill out a new, blank form based on a form that is currently open, click Fill Out a Form , and the form will open in a new window.

2. Under Open a form in the Fill Out a Form task pane, click On My Computer.
3. In the Files of type box in the Open dialog box, select Forms.
4. In the Look in list, click the drive, folder, or Internet location that contains the form (.xml file) you want to open.

   Note  To open a form located in a form library, click My Network Places, and then select the form library from the folder list.

5. In the folder list, double-click the folder that contains the form you want to open.
6. Click the form, and then click Open.

2. Under Design a new form in the Design a Form task pane, click New Blank Form.

2. Under Design a new form in the Design a Form task pane, click Customize a Sample.
3. In the Customize a Sample dialog box, select the form you want to customize.

2. Under Open a form in design mode in the Design a Form task pane, click On My Computer.
3. In the Look in list in the Open in Design Mode dialog box, click the drive, folder, or Internet location that contains the form template (.xsn file) you want to open.
4. In the folder list, double-click the folder that contains the form template.
5. Click the form template, and then click Open.

2. Under Open a form in design mode in the Design a Form task pane, click On a SharePoint Site.
3. In the Open from SharePoint site dialog box, type the location of the SharePoint site that contains the form library you want to open, click Next, and then select the form library you want to open.
