Add a border around a form
You can add a border to outline your entire form by placing your layout and controls into a single-cell layout table.
- In design mode, press CTRL+A to select the contents of the entire form, and then press CTRL+X to cut the selection.
- On the Insert menu, click Layout Table.
- In the Insert Table dialog box, enter 1 for both the Number of columns and the Number of rows.
- Right-click the layout table on the form, and then click Borders and Shading on the shortcut menu.
- In the Borders and Shading dialog box, click the Borders tab.
- Under Presets, click Outline.
- With the insertion point inside the layout table, press CTRL+V to paste your form contents.
To change the amount of spacing between the form's border and its contents, right-click the layout table, and then click Table Properties. You can adjust the spacing under Cell padding on the Cell tab of the Table Properties dialog box.
