Align contents of a table cell
You can change the horizontal (left, center, right, or justify) or vertical (top, center, or bottom) alignment of the contents in a table cell .
Horizontally align the contents of a table cell
- Select the cell or cells that contain the contents you want to align.
- Click Align Left, Center, Align Right, or Justify on the Standard toolbar.
Vertically align the contents of a table cell
- Right-click the cell or cells that contain the contents you want to align, and then click Table Properties on the shortcut menu.
- Click the
Cell tab on the Table Properties dialog box, and then select the vertical alignment option you want.
Note When filling out a form, the Table Properties option may not be available for tables that are a part of the form's design.
