Add or remove borders and shading
From Microsoft Office InfoPath
- In design mode, right-click the table, control, or object that you want to add a border to, and then click Borders and Shading on the shortcut menu.
- In the Borders and Shading dialog box, click the Borders tab.
- If you want to specify formatting options for the border, do any of the following:
- To specify a custom line style, click the style that you want in the Style list.
- To specify a color, click the Color arrow, and then click the color that you want.
- To specify a custom width, click the width that you want in the Width list.
- To apply a predefined set of borders, click the button for the set that you want, under Presets.
- To apply only specific parts of a border, click the button for each part that you want, under Border.
Remove a border- In design mode, right-click the table, control, or object from which you want to remove a border, and then click Borders and Shading on the shortcut menu.
- In the Borders and Shading dialog box, click the Borders tab.
- Under Presets, click None.
- In design mode, right-click the table, control, or object that you want to apply shading to, and then click Borders and Shading on the shortcut menu.
- In the Borders and Shading dialog box, click the Shading tab.
- Click the Color arrow, and then click the shading color that you want.
The color tiles in the top row of the Color box represent colors in the color scheme that is currently applied to the form.
- In design mode, right-click the table, control, or object from which you want to remove shading, and then click Borders and Shading on the shortcut menu.
- In the Borders and Shading dialog box, click the Shading tab.
- Click No color.
