Enable or disable the spelling checker for a control

You can specify whether Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 checks the spelling of the data that users enter into a text box, rich text box, or list. By default, the spelling checker is enabled.

  1. In design mode, right-click the control for which you want to enable or disable the spelling checker, and then click Control Properties.
  2. On the Display tab in the Control Properties dialog box, do one of the following:
    • To enable the spelling checker for the control, select the Enable spelling checker check box.
    • To disable the spelling checker for the control, clear the Enable spelling checker check box.
