Specify the number of decimal places displayed

  1. In design mode, right-click the text box or expression box whose data you want to format, and then click Properties.
  2. On the Data tab or the General tab in the Properties dialog box, click Format.

Note  You can specify the number of decimal places only for text boxes that have a decimal data type or for expression boxes that are formatted as a decimal.

  3. In the Decimal places list in the Decimal Format dialog box, do one of the following:
    • To always display a fixed number of decimal places, click the number of decimal places you want.
    • To show the number of decimal places that the user types into the control, click Auto.

Note  Changing the number of decimal places affects only the displayed value, not the value that is saved in the data source.
