Original is double sided If your scanner is equipped with an automatic document feeder (ADF), click this option to scan the front and back of multiple pages. Place the pages in the feeder so that the page fronts are scanned first.

The Scan New Document dialog box will reappear, allowing you to turn the pages over and scan the page backs. Microsoft Office Document Scanning automatically collates the pages in the correct order after scanning is complete.

Prompt for additional pages Click this option to pause after each page is scanned, allowing you to place the next page in your scanner. Or, if you are using an ADF, click this option to pause when the feeder is empty, allowing you to load more pages.

You can use this option with an ADF when you are scanning books or other documents that won't fit or are too long to load into the feeder. The Scan New Document dialog box reappears after each page is scanned, or after the feeder in your ADF is empty.

View file after scanning Select this check box to open the newly scanned document and display it in the Microsoft Office Document Image Viewer.
