Options dialog box - Annotations tab

Use this dialog box to change annotation settings.

Option Description
Pen Settings Select this option to open the Pen Settings dialog box. Click to change the color, thickness, or tip style for the preset pens or highlighters.
Default font Shows the default font, size, and color used when you add text to your document.
Format Font Select this option to change the default font, size, and color used when you add text.
Fill Color Select this option to change the background color used for text.
Fill transparency Select this option to change the transparency percentage used for text background. Option settings range from 100% (no color, completely transparent) to 0% (solid color, cannot view the document underneath the text and background.)
Make annotations permanent when document is saved Select this option to make annotations part of the image when you save the document. If you share documents with someone who uses another program to view image documents, such as Photoshop or Kodak, select this option if you want your annotations to be visible. You cannot select or change an annotation in the document after saving the document with this option selected.
Convert black and white documents to color documents Select this option to retain color annotations in a Black and White document when you save the file. This option results in increased files size.
Keep annotation color when copying image as bitmap Select this option to retain color annotations in a Black and White document when you copy your image and paste it into another program.
