When you save a file with a different compression option without changing the file format, only pages that you have made changes to are saved with the new compression option. To compress all the pages with a new compression option, you must make a change to each page.
- If you are changing the image compression in a document that has already been saved, and you are not changing the file format, make a change to each page.
- Select all the pages in the thumbnail pane.
- Right-click any selected page, point to Rotate Page, and then click Right 90°.
- Right-click any selected page, point to Rotate Page, and then click Left 90°.
- On the File menu, click Save As.
- In the Save As dialog box, click Options.
- Select the compression option you want for your Microsoft Document Imaging Format (MDI) file or Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) file.
