To draw and type with someone using Whiteboard
If access to Whiteboard is turned on by your network administrator, you can use it to draw and type simultaneously with someone else. You do not have to request control; you can type or draw at any time unless one of you has clicked Lock Contents on the Tools menu in Whiteboard.
- In the Windows Messenger main window,
right-click the contact with whom you want to start using Whiteboard, and click Start Whiteboard. - Start drawing.

When you are in a conversation, click Start Whiteboard in the sidebar.
Once the invitation is accepted, Stop Collaborating appears in the sidebar. Click it to end the session. Once you are connected, the Whiteboard window opens on your computer screens.
Notes
- You can send and receive invitations to use Whiteboard only with a person who has a computer running
