What do you need to send or receive ink?

• You need Windows XP Tablet PC Edition with Windows Messenger versions 4.7.3000 or 5.0.
• You need to be signed in to .NET Messenger Service.
• If you are in a corporation, your network administrator must allow ink to be sent and received.
• You can send ink only to contacts on your list.

 Note

If you are using Windows XP Tablet PC Edition and want to write a digital ink message to a contact who is not using that program, you can still write your message in ink. However, it will be converted to text when it is sent to your contact.
