To change the time that elapses before Away status appears
- Type a number in Show me as "Away" when I'm inactive for ___ minutes.
(Make sure the check box is selected.)
To get there: On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Preferences tab.
Note
Your status will change to Away if any of the following occur before your inactivity time elapses:
- Your screen saver comes on.
- You lock your computer.
- You use Fast User Switching.
