To turn off Away status
Your status will automatically appear as Away whenever your screen saver comes on. If you turn off this feature, you will appear always to be at your computer unless you specifically select a status. (Turning off this feature does not affect your ability to manually set your status to Away.)
- On the Preferences tab under General, clear the Show me as "Away" when I'm inactive for ___ minutes check box.
To get there: On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Preferences tab.
Note
- If you click your name in the main window to set your status to Away, you can turn it off by setting your status back to Online.
