To share your contact list
- On the File menu, click Save Contact List.
- Send your contact list to a friend in
e-mail or in an instant message.
Tip: Your contact list has a .ctt file extension and is usually in the My Documents folder.
Your friend can then save the file to his or her computer and import it into Windows Messenger, using Import Contacts from a Saved File from the File menu.
Note
If your friend already has some of the same contacts that you have, those contacts will not be duplicated in your friend's list.
