To drag ink
If you are using Windows XP Tablet PC Edition and can use ink to send instant messages, you can also drag ink from elsewhere (for example, from the ongoing conversation or from any program that accepts ink) into the typing area of the conversation window and then send it.
- With Use Ink turned on, tap to select an ink item from the conversation window or from ink in another program.
- Drag it into the typing area.
- Tap Send.
Note
Dragging allows you to create an object using color, line thickness, highlighting, and other effects in Windows Journal (or any program that accepts ink) and then drag it into the conversation.
