setValue Method

Sets the value of a specific attribute.

Return Values

S_OK
The value returned if no errors are reported.
E_FAIL
There is only one specific fatal error for this IMXAttributes implementation: incorrect index (E_INVALIDARG). It may return a generic failure code, such as out-of-memory.

Parameters

nIndex
The attribute's index value.
strValue
A string representing the attribute default value specified by "#IMPLIED", "#REQUIRED", or "#FIXED", or Null if none applies. This value string is represented by the attribute's default value, or Null if there is none.
