Adding and Deleting TIN Lines

In this exercise, you will add two lines to correct the flat triangulation. Add the first between points 1 and 2.

  1. On the Terrain menu, click Edit Surface Add Line.

  2. Use Endpoint Osnaps to select the TIN vertex point inside circle 1 for the From point and the TIN vertex point inside circle 2 for the To point, and then press ENTER.

The line is added between points 1 and 2 and that triangulation lines crossed by the new line are automatically deleted.

  4. On the Terrain menu, click Edit Surface Delete Line.

  5. 5Select the sliver TIN line, and then press ENTER.

The sliver TIN line is deleted.
