In this exercise, you will look at the volumes results from all three volumes calculation methods.

1. On the Terrain menu, click Volume Reports Site Reports to display the Site Volume Corrections dialog box.

2. Accept the default values in this dialog box by clicking OK and display the Site Volumes window.

   Observe that all three methods yield volumes that are quite close, with a 3.0% difference between the highest volumes value (section average end area method), 17,534 m3, and the lowest volumes value (grid method), 17,004 m3.

   It is recommended that you use all three methods to calculate volumes for your particular site. Sound engineering judgment should then be used to select the proper value.

3. When you have finished reviewing the volumes results click OK.
