Lightmap
Lightmap | Map LightThe outdated, but still applied because of its simplicity, the method of static lighting surfaces. The principle is as follows: at the base texture impose another map light, the light and dark places which alter the light intensity baseline, blending in the modulate. To overlay the light card model, as a rule, provides an additional set of texture coordinates.
This method is applicable only for static models and fixed light sources.
