oscilloscope waits for a trigger on an external trigger input.
- Ch x—The
oscilloscope waits for a trigger on the acquisition channel x.
- AC—The oscilloscope
waits for a trigger on the AC line.
- GET—The
oscilloscope waits until it receives a GPIB Group Execute Trigger (GET).
- TTLx —The
oscilloscope waits until it receives a trigger on the PXI TTLx line (for
PXI instruments) or the VXI TTLx line (for VXI instruments).

Slope |
Selects the slope (rising or falling) required to meet the trigger
condition. |
Set 50% |
Sets the vertical trigger position to halfway between the min and max values of the trigger channel's input signal. For instance, if a 5V amplitude sine wave with 1V offset (max value is 6V, min value is -4V) is connected to the trigger channel, the Set 50% button sets the vertical trigger position to 1V ((6 - 4) / 2)).
|
Note On External (Ext) channels, clicking this button sets the trigger level to 0 V. |
