Making Relative Measurements

With IVI Soft Front Panels—DMM, you can make measurements relative to a reference measurement. Complete the following steps to make such measurements:

1. Set up IVI Soft Front Panels—DMM to acquire a signal. Refer to Making a Measurement with IVI Soft Front Panels—DMM for details.
2. Click Null on the front panel.

IVI Soft Front Panels—DMM then makes all measurements relative to the measurement made at the moment you clicked Null. Click Null again to disable relative measurements.
