Making a Measurement with IVI Soft Front Panels—DMM

Complete the following steps to make a measurement with IVI Soft Front Panels—DMM:

1. Connect a signal to the specified channel input of your IviDMM instrument.
2. On the front panel, click Single. IVI Soft Front Panels—DMM displays a single measurement in the measurement display. If the signal seems incorrect, make sure the instrument is connected properly.
3. Click Run. IVI Soft Front Panels—DMM continuously acquires and displays measurements in the measurement display.
4. If the display shows +OVER or –OVER, make sure the input signal has not exceeded the range selected on the front panel.
5. Click Run again to stop acquisition.
