Acquiring Data

Complete the following steps to acquire data with IVI Soft Front Panels—Scope:

  1. Connect the signal to one of the channels of your instrument. Refer to your instrument user manual for more information.
  2. Configure Scope General Settings and Scope Channel Settings.
  3. Click the appropriate channel buttons (Ch 1, Ch 2, and so on) in the channel selector of the front panel.
  4. Click Auto Setup.
  5. Adjust the Timebase knob, if necessary.
  6. To change the trigger channel, select a new channel with the Trigger source selector and click Auto Setup again.
